Hey guys! As you might have seen in my latest haul, I got this lovely palette and it's all I've been using since then. So yes, spoiler, I LOVE it!
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Self-Made Eyeshadow Palette offers a nice variety of 14 shadows and it retails for only $35 (in comparison to other high end palettes, it's a real steal).
These shadows are beautifully pigmented, have that super nice buttery texture and blend like a dream. They are not powdery nor do they cause much fall out. Basically, they're everything you want them to be. I find the color selection so unique and therefore it makes this palette super versatile! The only shade I'm not really sure what to make of, or how to use it, is the pastel mint green that is Isla. I'm sure it has a purpose, but I just haven't found it haha
The palette is a nice size, but the packaging isn't really the sturdiest, so I'm not sure how well it would travel. Also the magnet that shuts it closed seems like it could easily open...Just pack it carefully if needed ;)
Seriously, there isn't much more to say about it. I mean, it's an AMAZING palette that offers great quality and is at a beyond reasonable price point. GET IT. Get it now! ALSO, it would make an excellent Christmas gift for the beauty obsessed person in your life!
I'll leave you on a fun note with swatches and a little Holiday look I created using this palette;
