It's the most wonderful
time of the year! Monthly favorites that is, we all know the Holidays can be a
little hectic so let's not start stressing about for a tiny while longer...
As I have mentioned, we
moved this past month, so I had a very specific stash to play with and had no
problem reaching for the same things everyday. Quite a few loves this month, so
let's just jump right into it!
Juice Beauty Refining Finishing Powder - I LOVE this
powder to set my makeup. It's a loose powder but I like using it with a buffing
brush and just pressing into the skin. It helps blur out your pores and
imperfections and keep your makeup in place! It is tinted but doesn't really
add much color on the face. This is also from an organic brand, so it's not
full of crap, in fact it's full of benefits for your skin. WIN! (I got mine at
Whole Foods)
Anastasia Self-Made Palette - To no surprise...I've done a full review
which you can see HERE. But I
have not used anything else for my eye looks and I don't plan on using
something else anytime soon.
Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Blackberry Sorbet - Besides the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolors, I
had sneaked this bad boy in my purse and this is the ultimate color for this
time of year! Plus, it's sooo creamy and lasts a long time. I really need to
stop overlooking the Sephora brand, they make really great
products. I can't wait to get my hands on more!
Boots No.7 Lift & Luminate Foundation SPF 15 - This foundation is the bomb dot com. It offers light to
medium coverage, has the most beautiful finish (it's neither matte nor dewy),
it hydrates and controls oil, so it's perfect for my combo skin! Oh and it
matches me perfectly (Cool Ivory). It just looks so natural. As I have
mentioned though, on days when I want a bit more coverage, I mix in a drop
of Cover FX Custom Cover Drops and
voila! I will have a full review on both of these soon so you can see how it
all works!
Wet n Wild Fergie Shimmer Palette in Hollywood Boulevard - I mentioned the Rose Champagne Glow in
my October Favorites, but these highlighters are sooo good. So when
I saw them on sale, I decided to grab Hollywood Boulevard. I didn't
think I would like it, because in the pan, it doesn't look "fair
skin" friendly, but it's sooo beautiful. I cannot believe these are so
cheap. Again, I believe they are limited edition, but if you can find these,
grab both. You'll thank me later ;)
Khiel's Midnight Recovery Eye -
Urgh, this eye cream guys! It's everything. Since using this, the only part of
my face NOT showing signs of aging are my eyes. SMOOTH BABY, SMOOTH. So yes,
this helps with fine lines like in a minute. I use this day and night. I don't
find it helps as drastically with the puffiness and dark circles but, this plus
the De-Puffer, BAM!
This cream is just the best at hydrating and smoothing my eye area, so my
concealer always looks on point now!
Lush Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask - I
love me some Lush masks, so if I happen to be near one of
their stores on a Thursday (that's when they get them in, and I like 'em fresh
girl! Friendly tip.), I usually go and grab one. The weather here has been
crazy, so my skin has been crazy. This mask is perfection for combo skin. It
has calamine, kaolin and rose oil so it soothes, detoxifies and balances out
your skin. YASSSS. Oh and it smells divine. Truly the ultimate pampering mask.
AND BOOM! That's it
homies. I'm off to put up my Christmas tree and jam to some holiday tunes!
Let me know what you've
been loving this month!
Talk to you soon,
-Xoxo, Val
